It is beautiful because one more child will know that a mommy and a daddy and 2 brothers and a sister are coming for her. We are thrilled to be on this journey, but even more thrilled by what God will show us through a little girl in an orphanage in Russia.
It is beautiful because God orchestrated a huge amount of circumstances. It started with an 11 year old girl and her heart for orphans. God provided her family with more than enough money for their adoption in only 9 days time. We received a phone call from them the night before Thanksgiving asking if they could share any additional funds they raised so that we could adopt another child with Down syndrome. It was God who has started us out with $9000. It was God who worked out what could have been a deal breaker with our health insurance with one simple phone call. It was God who placed Evangeline in our hearts as we looked upon all the children who desperately need a home. And it is God who will bring her home to us and change our family for the better forever.
